Kaboul: Spurs is just another game to me

Younes Kaboul is treating Tottenham’s visit to Portsmouth this weekend as just another game.

The defender left White Hart Lane in August 2008 to move to Fratton Park and is looking to cause an upset against his old side as Pompey battle against the drop.

He said: ‘We can do it. We can stay up.

‘We must forget everything that has happened before and keep going forward to the next game.

‘We must give everything on the pitch and training as well.

‘We can stay in the Premier League.

‘Spurs is like every game for me, I don’t care if it’s them or whoever.

‘The thing is to win, like any other game.

‘Personally, the win against Wolves was not a surprise.

‘For a long time we’ve played well but missed a bit of luck – in that game we had some with us.

‘If we continue to play well like that the future can be good.

‘Paul Hart is a really clever man. He just keeps going, his head isn’t down. He’s always looking forward and he gives that to us as well, so that is why we keep going.

‘In our first eight games we have lost seven and won one, now we have to forget what’s happened before and just keep concentrating on the good points.’
