‘Kane feeling unwell’ – Journalist reveals striker could miss Norwich match

Harry Kane is a doubt for Tottenham Hotspur’s final Premier League match of the season at Norwich City on Sunday.

Tottenham need to secure at least a point from the fixture at Carrow Road to guarantee their place in next season’s Champions League, while defeat and an Arsenal win at home to Everton would see their north London rivals secure fourth place.

The striker is said to not feeling 100% and has cancelled his appearance at the launch of the Harry Kane exhibition at the Museum of London which was due to take place today.

Gary Lineker had earlier taken to Twitter to suggest that he has heard that Tottenham Hotspur are suffering another food poisoning outbreak within their ranks.

The club infamously suffered a food poisoning controversy that infamously cost them a place in the Champions League on the final day of the 2005/06 season having lost 2-1 to West Ham United when a number of players went down with illness on the eve of the match (The Athletic).

Journalist Charlie Eccleshare has claimed no other players are feeling unwell, nor has there been a food poisoning outbreak.

Hopefully, this is just an isolated incident and the club aren’t trying to contain the outbreak as to what Lineker has suggested which would be a disaster ahead of the match.
