Kane gives new injury update

Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane has been out injured for a number of weeks now, but is well along the long road to recovery.

Kane picked up the problem in the dying minutes against Man United at Wembley, as Phil Jones came in with a late challenge on his ankle.

The ankle has been a problem area for Kane in the past, and he often faces spells of around one month out when picking up these injuries.

Early March was initially pinpointed for a potential Kane return, but fans may be hoping for an earlier date as the striker looks to be progressing with training.

Kane took some time out last night as he flew out to watch the Superbowl, supporting his beloved Patriots as they beat the Rams 13-3.

Harry also gave an exclusive interview to SkySports, handing fans an update on the injury, but he refused to name a return date.

Kane said: “I never put a time on any of my injuries. It’s just how it feels. The ankle feels great the moment. So long as the swelling stays away we can keep progressing and that would be great.”
