Kane out of Manchester United trip

According to Sky Sports In-form Harry Kane will miss Tottenham’s away clash with Manchester United on Saturday at Old Trafford after failing to recover from a hamstring injury. Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed the news at his morning press conference.

Our talisman underwent an assessment on his hamstring  earlier this week which suffered late on in Spurs’ 4-1 Premier League win over Liverpool last Sunday and it has now been confirmed he has a minor strain to his left hamstring.

The club said via its twitter account this morning: “Harry Kane underwent assessment and investigation earlier this week, which confirmed a minor strain to the left hamstring,”

Pochettino said:”We can’t take a risk for tomorrow we’ll see after for Wednesday, but tomorrow it’s impossible,”

Harry’s absence is a huge blow as we look to improve our shaky record away from home against our main top six Premier League rivals, where we managed only 2 points from the 15 available last season. However we did cope well when he was our and if ever there was a time for Fernando Llorente to step out of the shadows it’s now
