Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social media to share their reaction to this afternoon’s 0-0 draw against Everton at Goodison Park.
Antonio Conte was taking charge of the North Londoners for the first time in the Premier League and saw his side struggle to fashion many clear cut opportunities to find the back of the net.
Everton thought they had earned a penalty in the second half when Hugo Lloris raced out to dive at the feet of Richarlison which saw referee Chris Kavanagh point to the spot, only for VAR to recommend Kavanagh took another look at the pitchside monitor and overturned his original decision.
The Toffees looked the more likelier of the two sides to take the lead in the second half until Giovani Lo Celso’s curling effort on 88 minutes hit the post from around 25 yards out.
Here is a selection of reaction from some of the Spurs fanbase.

Gio could've won that for us but he's not playing for Argentina unfortunately. Intense game, Rome wasn't built in a day. Onto the next.

Kane needs dropping. Would be nice if we actually had an alternative.

Not a great performance, but Goodison never an easy place.
Hard for Reggy/Emerson to get more forward as they would have liked.
Penalty and Holgate calls both correct. Davies/Skipp impressive. Lo Celso unlucky.
Early days, so hard for Conte to really implement. COYS 🤍
