Kane not worried by Tottenham’s lack of transfer activity

According to an article in metro  Harry Kane insists he’s not concerned by the clubs lack of summer transfer activity. Harry is recovering ahead of the new Premier League season following another prolific campain and leading  England at this summer’s World Cup, picking up the tournament’s Golden Boot.

While Kane has been away, Mauricio Pochettino and the majority of his squad have returned for pre season but unlike all the other top Premier League clubs, we are yet to make a signing which is making a lot of fans uncomfortable

Youngsters Keanan Bennetts and Anton Walkes leave, but we have yet to buy a single player despite the window closing soon on August 9th and being linked with a host of stars including Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish and Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha. But according to the article Kane isn’t overly bothered and has full trust in his manager Mauricio Pochettino to make the right calls.

“That’s up to the gaffer and the chairman, and I am sure they will get who they want and get rid of who they want,’ Kane said to Sky Sports.”From our point of view we’ve just got to focus – we’ve got a great squad, we’re growing and getting better each year, and it’s important for us going into the new stadium just to keep progressing’

We start our Premier League season against Newcastle United on August 11 before taking on Fulham on August 18 and it will be a welcome relief to a lot of fans to see some new faces in the doors of Hotspur Way before then.
