Tottenham face a pivotal week in their season, but as they gear up for a crucial Europa League semi-final, there’s one Bodo/Glimt player they must keep an especially close eye on.
Over the next week, Tottenham Hotspur’s season could take a turn either for the better or the worse.
Of course, every Spurs fan knows the Premier League campaign is all but over, with the Lilywhites firmly rooted in 16th place, but the Europa League has offered a rare glimmer of hope.
With Tottenham in the semi-finals, there is a growing desire for a happy ending to what has been a bleak 2024/25 season.
Indeed, Ange Postecoglou will be desperate for his side to keep their European push alive a little longer. The next hurdle, though, could be trickier than some expect.

The Bodo/Glimt star Tottenham must watch in Europa League clash
Waiting for Spurs over the next week is Bodo Glimt. The Norwegian side is no pushover, and while, on paper, Spurs might boast the better squad, the Tottenham faithful have warned against any hint of complacency against Glimt.
The Eliteserien side are a strong, organised outfit that could cause Tottenham loads of problems over the two legs.
Their chances of pulling off an upset are significantly boosted by one player in particular. Kasper Waarts Hogh has been instrumental for Kjetil Knutsen’s side throughout their Europa League campaign.
The forward has scored seven goals in 12 appearances, making him Glimt’s danger man and the Europa League’s top scorer.
In the group stages, Hogh scored three times – once against FC Porto and twice against Maccabi Tel Aviv – before adding four more in the knockout rounds, including a brace against Olympiacos at the Aspmyra Stadion.
Why Kasper Waarts Hogh poses a real threat to Spurs
Of course, Tottenham will need to be on guard when Hogh visits the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but the bigger danger might not come on home soil.
Of Hogh’s seven Europa League goals, six have come at home, underlining how much stronger he – and Glimt – are at the Aspmyra Stadion.
Glimt have been one of the best home sides throughout the tournament, making the first leg in North London crucial.
If Spurs fail to seize control of the tie at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, they could face a real uphill battle when they travel to Norway for the return leg.
