Robbie Keane has revealed that he is aiming to help fire Tottenham into the top four of the Premier League this season.

The striker feels that with some extra additions to Redknapp’s squad, it will only help to increase their chances of breaking into the Champions League places.

He said in the Daily Star: “We’ve got the firepower to do it now. I’m sure if other players come in, it will only add to the squad.

“Crouch is a good player but I don’t really want to talk about players who are still with other clubs.

“This could be a big year for us. Breaking into the top four has to be the aim.”

When asked about Manchester City’s threat, Keane added: “City are at the same level as us. They have a similar squad to ours, and they’ve spent a lot of money.

“Good luck to them. But we’ve got to concentrate on what we do. Maybe we can be the quiet ones and come from nowhere.”
