Keane KO’s West Ham move

Any chance of Robbie Keane moving to West Ham United look to be over.

The out of favour Tottenham Hotspur striker is expected to leave White Hart Lane in January and had been linked with a move across London to Upton Park.  However it seems that Keane’s demands have KO’d any chance of a deal.

A Hammers insider told ESPNsoccernet: “The terms the player and the club are demanding are impossible.”

West Ham have also been priced out of a move for Emmanuel Adebayor, who earns £180,000-a-week at Manchester City.

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. Why would keane want to move to a championship club, irrespective of the money. As for Adebayor, did they really think they were in with a chance of getting him. Cloud cuckoo land comes to mind

  2. I WISH HE WOULD GO.HE IS AN EMBARRASSMENT AND AN EXPENSE THAT SPURS COULD DO WITHOUT.HE CAN NOT SHOOT STRAIGHT ANY MORE.HE CANNOT PASS THE BALL TO ANY OF HIS OWN SIDE ANY MORE.hE IS A LIABILITY!!!!
