Journalist Dean Jones has reportedly heard from one of his sources that Tottenham target Roony Bardghji could complete a switch to a big club and be loaned back to Copenhagen this window.
Singing young, up-and-coming starlets and loaning them back to their clubs is a strategy that has worked quite well for Tottenham over the last couple of years.
Both Pape Matar Sarr and Destiny Udogie have benefited from such an arrangement and have now become key players at Spurs while the Lilywhites also followed the same modus operandi with Luka Vuskovic.
Bardghji, who is making waves in the Danish top flight, is another emerging star who is now thought to be on Tottenham’s radar, with 90 min reporting last month that the North London club have scouted the winger extensively this season.
Reports over the last few weeks have indicated that Spurs are expected to face competition from Inter Milan (InterLive.it) as well as from some of their Premier League rivals (HITC) for the 18-year-old’s signature.
Should Spurs sign Bardghji and loan him back?
Jones has now offered an update on the Sweden Under-21 international’s future amidst the speculation linking him with a move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The journalist told Ranks FC Ultras Podcast: “Roony Bardghji, no concrete news, but he’s clearly being pushed to make a transfer soon. He’s a name we will talk about a lot in the coming years.
“I did have a brief conversation yesterday with someone because I saw the Tottenham link and he suggested that Bardghji makes a big agreement at a big club and then he’s loaned back to Copenhagen, so that’s one to keep an eye on.”

Following Timo Werner’s arrival, Tottenham arguably do not need another forward to slot into the first-team right now.
So, they could look to tie up a deal for an up-and-coming starlet like Bardghji and loan him back to the Danish capital as that would be in line with the transfer strategy they have employed over the last few years.
