Kevin Danso started his first game for Tottenham this season against Doncaster, and that trademark long throw was on show for all to see in the Carabao Cup as Frank rotated his squad.
The Austrian international spoke with the club’s official media team ahead of the match and opened up on his hunger to add more trophies during this campaign. In his words, once a player wins one trophy, the desire to experience that feeling again only grows stronger.
“We are a top club and we want to cement that by winning more trophies,” Danso told the official matchday programme. “This is another opportunity and we want to take it. As I said, once you win that first one, you just want more and to experience that feeling again.”

Thomas Frank has also spoken about how he wants his Tottenham side to approach the Carabao Cup, making it clear that the focus will be on taking things game by game.
The Dane is yet to win a major trophy himself, but he knows the Carabao Cup represents a strong opportunity to clinch silverware with Spurs.
Tottenham continue their League Cup pursuit in the fourth round with a tough away tie against Newcastle United, which is far from ideal for Frank and co, who have Chelsea in the Premier League just days later.
