‘Key day’ – Journalist hints agreement for 25-year-old could be reached

ESPN journalist Julien Laurens has revealed that Paris Saint-Germain are optimistic about completing the signing of Tanguy Ndombele from Tottenham Hotspur.

Ndombele does not appear to have a future under Antonio Conte at Tottenham, with the Italian thought to have reservations with the midfielder’s attitude and not being a team player (The Athletic).

It was first reported last week that PSG had entered into talks with Tottenham to sign the 25-year-old on a loan deal (Guardian).

However, GFFN reported a few days ago that Daniel Levy had still not given the green light for the move, since the Spurs chairman was looking to arrange ‘something permanent’.

If Laurens’ latest update to believed, Ndombele is now edging closer to a move to Pairs.

The journalist claims that Mauricio Pochettino’s men are looking to sign the Frenchman on loan with an option to buy.

He added that today (Friday) could be a key day in the negotiations between Spurs and PSG for the former Lyon man.

Laurens is a reliable source when it comes to information regarding PSG. The journalist also seems to have connections with Ndombele’s camp, as evidenced by some of the previous stories (ESPN) he has broken about the midfielder. So, we can put plenty of stock in his update.
