Kick-off time for one upcoming Tottenham fixture has been changed

Tottenham have confirmed that the kick-off time for their clash against Brentford has changed.

Brentford visit the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the Lilywhites’ penultimate home game of the season on May 20.

While kick-off for the clash was initially scheduled for 3 pm, it has now been pushed forward to lunchtime, with the match now set to kick-off at 12:30 pm.

The game could have a lot on the line as Tottenham look as though they could have a battle on their hands for the European places, with Aston Villa and Brighton now breathing down their necks.

Some optimistic Spurs fans will be hoping that the Lilywhites are still in with a shot of Champions League qualification heading into the final few games of the season.

However, that looks unlikely unless Cristian Stellini’s men get results against Newcastle United and Manchester United in their next two games and narrow the gap with those sides.

Spurs Web Opinion

Lunchtime kick-offs are never ideal as the atmosphere at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tends to be quite subdued.

The clash on May 20 could be an opportunity for Thomas Frank to impress the Spurs hierarchy, with the Dane thought to be in consideration to replace Antonio Conte.
