Kieran Trippier’s impressive stats against Juventus in the Champions League

Ex-Tottenham right-back, Kieran Trippier, had a match to remember against Juventus in the Champions League last night.

Atletico came from behind to grab a late equaliser against the Italian giants, courtesy of a Kieran Trippier assist from a corner.

Who Scored also named Tripps as the best player in the game with a rating of 8.39 on the night, which is particularly impressive when you consider he was up against Ronaldo.

Kieran recorded seven key passes in the 90 minutes, with one assist to his name. He had a pass completion of 81.8%, 96 touches, was fouled twice, blocked one shot, completed three clearances, crossed the ball 11 times and crossed it accurately five times.

Meanwhile, Tottenham played Davinson Sanchez out of position at right-back, with Serge Aurier left at home, Walker-Peters on the bench, and Trippier sold to Atletico.

Spurs will fly home gutted after giving away a two-goal lead, meanwhile, Trippier will be celebrating setting up the winner for his side against Juventus. Seems an interesting decision to sell him now.
