Ledley King is hoping to feature in Tottenham’s final game of the season against Birmingham City.
The defender returned to the Spurs defence for the 2-0 win at Liverpool last weekend after being sidelined for the last seven months.
“I am fine. I have a few little aches and pains now but that’s normal and with the recovery it’s been so far so good, so hopefully I will be involved in the last game on Sunday,” King told Spurs TV Online.
“It was great to be back playing. I made my debut at Anfield so it’s a stadium that holds a lot of memories for me. It was nice to be part of such a great team performance that got the win.”
“Michael has been outstanding,” King said as he praised Michael Dawson.
“He always is when I play alongside him. He’s getting better and better and his game has elevated to new levels.
“It’s nice to play alongside him. I knew I would get tired during the Liverpool game, that I would have spells when I would have to dig deep, and it’s great to have someone like Michael there alongside you.”
