Dejan Kulusevski has claimed that he can play together with Richarlison upfront and admitted that the competition for places in the forward line is now heating up at Spurs.
Despite starting the season in fine form, Kulusevski has been left out of Tottenham’s starting eleven in the last two matches against Fulham and Marseille, with Richarlison starting alongside Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.
The Brazilian has certainly taken his chances, with his second-half brace on Wednesday helping Spurs to begin their Champions League campaign with three points.
Antonio Conte admitted following the 2-0 win over Marseille that he has some big selection decisions to make ahead of the clash against Manchester City on Saturday (Football.London).
Kulusevski has now remarked that apart from the four big names, Lucas Moura and Bryan Gil are also pushing hard in training to get into the Tottenham team.
When asked if he can play together with Richarlison, the Swede told Football.London: “Of course, I don’t know why that is a question.
“I can play with everybody. It is very easy. But also with Lucas and with Bryan, we have six good players, quality players. Everyone goes hard in training to play the games.”

The 22-year-old operated as a wing-back for the final 30 minutes of the clash against Marseille after replacing Emerson Royal, and proved a major threat down the right flank.
Kulusevski said about his cameo: “I came in and the coach wanted me to stay on the wing and dribble my guy and that’s what I did.”

On current form, one can make the case that Kane, Richarlison and Kulusevski is Tottenham’s best front three. However, there is no way Conte will drop Son for the clash on Saturday as his ability to run in-behind Man City’s high backline will prove valuable.
