Dejan Kulusevski has told Tottenham fans to be excited about the 2022/23 season.
The last few months have seemed like a crossroads moment for Spurs, with the club managing to squeeze into fourth place at Arsenal’s expense towards the end of the season.
After Champions League qualification was confirmed, ENIC announced a £150m cash injection into the club and it was made clear that Antonio Conte would be staying at the club (Football.London).
Tottenham have secured the services of three players this summer in the form of Fraser Forster, Ivan Perisic and Yves Bissouma, with reports indicating that the club want to make at least four more additions before the transfer window slams shut (The Times).
Conte has shown throughout his managerial career that he can get clubs punching above their weight, and Spurs fans will be excited to see what the Lilywhite can achieve in the Italian’s first full season in charge.
Kulusevski has done little to reduce fan expectations, stating that there could be big things to look forward to in 2022/23.
The winger told Anis Don Demena YouTube channel: “I don’t want to hype anyone up, but I can say that the Tottenham fans have something to look forward to.”

Despite Conte being careful to temper expectations publicly, the Italian would have privately conveyed to the squad that they can challenge for the title.
While that will be a tough ask, given the levels Man City and Liverpool are at, if anyone can challenge the top two next season, it is likely to be us.
