Kyle Walker has spoken in glowing terms of the Tottenham team he was part of, remarking that Mousa Dembele is the best player that he has ever seen.
Mousa Dembele spent six and a half years at Tottenham after joining the North London club from Fulham in the summer of 2012. The Belgian international made 249 appearances for the Lilywhites, scoring 10 goals for the club in all competitions (Transfermarkt).
He was an important part of the Mauricio Pochettino revolution at Spurs, which saw the club challenge for the Premier League title during the 2015/16 and 2016/17 campaigns.
The midfielder departed N17 to join Guangzhou City back in 2019 and he announced his retirement last season after his contract with the Chinese Super League side ran out.
All of Dembele’s teammates with Tottenham and Belgium lavish praise on the talent that he possessed, with Pochettino labelling him a ‘genius’ and comparing him to the likes of Deigo Maradona and Ronaldinho (Marca).
Walker has become the latest player to sign the praises of the former Spurs star, insisting that is the best footballer he has ever seen.

The Man City star told Sky Sports: “The team I left at Tottenham was incredible. It was me, Danny Rose o the flanks. We had a young Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen, Vertonghen, Alderweireld, and Mousa Dembele, who’s probably the best player I have ever seen play football. I left a good Tottenham team.”
