Kyle Walker has withdrawn from the England squad to face Holland on Wednesday.
The Tottenham Hotspur right-back picked up an ankle injury during the disappointing 5-2 defeat at Arsenal yesterday, although the FA did not explain the reason why Walker has withdrawn which is strange.
Walker battled on and played the full 90 minutes at the Emirates despite picking up the knock. Lets just hope he is fit to face Manchester United on Sunday – we’re already missing Scott Parker through suspension which is a massive blow. I’d happily take a point from the game if it was offered to me now.
England caretaker boss Stuart Pearce has opted against calling up a replacement.
