Kyle Walker labels Spurs player ‘the craziest man’ he’s met in football

Kyle Walker has admitted that Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper, Joe Hart is the craziest man he has met during his football career.

Hart had a long and distinguished career for Manchester City, helping the club to two Premier League titles during his time there.

However, the goalkeeper’s time at the club did not overlap with Walker’s, with the 33-year-old leaving the Citizens when Pep Guardiola took over the reins in 2016.

Although Hart has taken Paulo Gazzaniga’s spot as Hugo Lloris’ main understudy since arriving at Spurs last summer, the England international has not seen many opportunities come his way this season.

However, he has demonstrated already that he is a livewire in the changing room, often playing a key role behind the scenes in keeping the players’ morale up.

Walker might have not shared a dressing room with Hart at City but the pair played together for England on plenty of occasions.

The former Spurs man admitted that the experienced shot-stopper often behaves like a kid in and around the dressing room.

While reviewing clips of some of the fastest City players over the years, he was asked to give his verdict on Hart’s full-pitch sprint to run back and make a save against Manchester United.

The defender told Manchester City’s YouTube Channel (via HITC): “I think that just sums Joe up in a nutshell.

“The most lovely, but the craziest man I’ve ever met in football.

“When it’s bitterly cold outside and it’s wet you’ll see Joe rolling around in the mud and he loves it. He’s like a big kid.”
