Kylian Mbappe has taken to social media to convey his support for Tottenham Hotspur defender Serge Aurier, after his brother was murdered two days ago.
Tottenham confirmed yesterday that the right-back’s brother, Christopher Aurier, was shot at a nightclub in Toulouse in the early hours of Monday morning.
It has been reported that a gunman fled the scene and French police are still said to be on the lookout for him (Sky Sports).
Christopher Aurier, a year younger than Serge, was also a footballer and played for Rodeo Toulouse in the French fifth division last season.
PSG superstar, Mbappe, has become the latest player to tweet his support for the Spurs man after having played alongside Aurier in Paris.
The 21-year-old took to Twitter to write: “Je suis avec toi (I am with you)”.
Je suis avec toi 🕊❤️🙏🏽… @Serge_aurier
