Lamela discusses the song Spurs fans sing about him

With Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Son Heung-Min not available for the next few weeks,

Tottenham will be counting on the likes of Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela to produce the goods in the coming matches as they look to bounce back from the disappointing cup exit at Stamford Bridge.

Lamela, in particular, started the season in great form and was finding the back of the net quite regularly. However, the attacker once again suffered an injury which halted his progress.

The 26-year-old Argentine is now back fit again and played the full 90 minutes against Chelsea last night and was the only player along with Christian Eriksen to convert their penalties as we crashed out of the Carabao Cup.

Lamela was the latest Spurs player to take the Sky Sports Soccer AM’s teammates quiz where players are asked about their club teammates. During the segment, the winger was asked about the song Spurs fans sing about him.

Tottenham fans regularly go into a rendition of ‘Everywhere you go, always take Lamela with you’ when the Argentine is playing. The former Roma man said it is great feeling to hear his name being sung.

“Yeah, I like it. I like it when the people say my name. I appreciate it,” he said.
