“Lamela, stealing a living” – Some Spurs fans react to the team news ahead of West Ham match

Tottenham Hotspur face West Ham United tomorrow lunchtime in what could be a pivotal game in their quest to finish in the top four.

Mauricio Pochettino will be without the services of five first team players after it was confirmed on the club’s official Twitter account that Harry Kane, Moussa Sissoko, Harry Winks, Serge Aurier and Erik Lamela are all sidelined with respective injury issues.

Having so many players unavailable will certainly limit Mauricio Pochettino’s options to try and keep his squad fresh ahead of Tuesday night’s Champions League semi final first leg against Ajax.

While Heung-min Son and Vincent Janssen are both available to face the Hammers, the pair will not take part on Tuesday due to Son’s one-match suspension and the fact that Janssen was not named in the club’s Champions League squad.

Some Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to react to the team news ahead of the Premier League encounter.

Spurs fans will be hoping that the players who feature against West Ham manage to come through the game unscathed and are all available for the Ajax match in what is already a depleted squad to choose from, especially in the middle of midfield.
