Late BT Sport reshuffle results in Spurs game being televised over festive period

It has been announced that Tottenham Hotspur‘s Boxing Day clash against Crystal Palace will now be televised live by BT Sport following a late reshuffle.

The broadcaster was due to show the Premier League encounter between Leeds and Liverpool at Elland Road, however, a Covid outbreak within the ranks of Marcelo Bielsa’s side has resulted in the game being postponed.

The match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will still kick off at its original time slot of 3pm, whereas the Leeds vs Liverpool game was penciled in for a start of 12.30 pm.

Tottenham will be out to avenge the 3-0 defeat they suffered against Palace at Selhurst Park in September while Nuno Espirito Santo was still in charge.

The North Londoners know all too well about the impact which the virus can have on their fixture schedule having seen their recent matches against Rennes, Brighton and Leicester City all shelved due to Covid.
