Latest: Conflicting reports emerge regarding Spurs’ Dybala deal

Tottenham Hotspur fans are all set to spend the rest of deadline day on the edge of their seats as reports suggest that the club could be attempting to complete as many as four signings before the 5 pm deadline.

Arguably, the most ambitious of those pursuits is the one for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala.

Conflicting reports have emerged regarding Tottenham’s chase of Paulo Dybala this morning. Italian publication Calcio Mercato report that the Argentinean has turned down a move to Spurs as the club were not willing to meet his wage demands.

Meanwhile, BBC’s David Ornstein has suggested that the Lilywhites are very close to completing the deal.

The Evening Standard claim that Spurs have agreed on personal terms with the Juve forward and the move now depends on whether Tottenham can negotiate a deal with Image Star, the company that own’s Dybala’s image rights.
