BBC football pundit Mark Lawrenson has predicted that Tottenham Hotspur will beat Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup on Sunday.
He told BBC Sport Online: “I was a bit surprised to see Charlton sack manager Phil Parkinson this week because I saw an interview with the Addicks’ new owners last week in which they were talking about backing him in the transfer window to help the club’s promotion push in League One.
“Tottenham’s 11-game unbeaten run was ended by Everton on Wednesday night but they are still very dangerous going forward and I have been talking all season about the strength in depth they have with their attacking options. You cannot look past a Spurs win here.
“Prediction: 2-0.”
