BBC football pundit Mark Lawrenson has predicted that Tottenham Hotspur will lose to West Ham United this weekend.
He told BBC Sport Online: “With their draw at Stoke followed by a win at Sunderland in the Carling Cup, West Ham have had a very good week and I think their big players – by which I mean the likes of Scott Parker, Carlton Cole and Rob Green – are just starting to come alive.
“Tottenham fielded an experimental side against Arsenal on Tuesday but they have a Champions League match on Wednesday to think about and the league fixtures either side of those European games are always going to give their manager Harry Redknapp a bit of a problem in terms of getting his team selection right every time.
“Prediction: 2-1.”
