The rumours linking Sergio Aguero with a move to Tottenham in the summer have left some Spurs fans on social media excited at the prospect of the forward moving to North London.
Tottenham could be in the market for a striker in the summer as the future of Carlos Vinicius is still up in the air, with reports indicating that Jose Mourinho’s men are yet to make a decision on whether they would make a permanent move for the Brazilian.
It has been confirmed that Aguero would be leaving Manchester City when his contract runs out at the end of the season.
The Telegraph revealed a few days ago that the Argentine is open to a potential switch to Tottenham in the summer.
It was said that the 32-year-old is keen to prove himself in the Premier League away from Manchester City and would consider joining Spurs even if the North Londoners do not qualify for next season’s Champions League.
The report has some Spurs fans on social media dreaming of a potential Kane and Aguero linkup in N17 next season.

Anyone would want to see Kane and Aguero up top together but let’s be real… it is not worth paying the ridiculous wages he’d want to be on for a striker who now plays 3 games a season when we need to sort out our defence first 🥴 https://t.co/cYik4OlK2D

Unlikely as this is a strike force of Kane and Aguero is disgusting 🔥 https://t.co/3v74n82NzF

Spurs Web Opinion
There are plenty of reasons why a move for Aguero might not be on the cards. Firstly, I believe the Argentine will want to go to a club where he is first-choice and he will not want to risk being benched by Kane. Besides, the 32-year-old is not the type of striker that Jose Mourinho historically has gone for as he is more of a goal poacher who does not offer much outside the box.
