As expected the first three episodes of Amazon Prime’s behind the scenes documentary of Tottenham’s 2019/20 season revolved around Jose Mourinho.
The producers did not waste much time in getting Mauricio Pochettino out of the way and introducing The Special One, with the Argentine only lasting half an episode.
Hence, some of the poor performances and results that eventually led to the former Spurs boss’ sacking are left out of the series, with only the Bayern Munich humiliation and the games against Red Star Belgrade and Sheffield United making the final cut.
One result that certainly did not do Pochettino any favours was the defeat to Colchester United in the League Cup.
The Oysters held Tottenham to a 0-0 draw at the JobServe Community Stadium in the Third Round tie last September and overcame them 4-3 in a penalty shootout to produce a massive upset.
The League Two side tweeted out to Amazon this week, jokingly asking whether they needed footage from the game.
Hey @primevideosport 👋
Think you may have lost some footage of Tottenham’s season… We’ll be happy to send some over to you 😇#ColU | #AllorNothingSpurs pic.twitter.com/SHpxISvgFl

Spurs Web Opinion
It was understandable why the club would not have wanted to focus on how things ended for Pochettino. Unlike some fans, I was actually glad that the Argentine’s struggles were covered within the first half of the first episode. The last thing I wanted to do was to relive the difficult final couple of months that the 48-year-old endured at Spurs.
