Ledley King is fit to return to the Tottenham squad for the trip to Portsmouth, tomorrow.
The defender has recovered from a hamstring injury which he picked up against Chelsea in September, but won’t be joined by Jonathan Woodgate – who is not ready to return to first-team duties just yet.
Luka Modric and Giovani dos Santos will also miss the match at Fratton Park.
“Woody’s trained well this week but he’s not quite ready, he’s a week away yet,” Redknapp told the club’s official site. “We’ll fix up another practice match, he’ll get a game in there and that will do him a world of good.
“He could then be back in contention.”
“Ledley’s trained and worked hard,” added Redknapp. “He played a half in the practice game this week and did a bit this morning and came through it okay. He should be fit.”
Redknapp also confirmed that Wilson Palacios is unlikely to feature: “Wilson’s due back at six o’clock and will come straight to the team hotel but it’s difficult to start him after all that travelling.”
