Ledley King explains how Spurs are greenest club in Premier League

Tottenham legend, Ledley King gave Sky Sports a tour around Hotspur Way earlier this week in order to explain why the Lilywhites are the greenest club in the Premier League.

Spurs were officially named the greenest club in the Premier League for 2020 when the Sustainability Table was published back in January.

With Tottenham investing in brand-new modern facilities, such as the training ground and stadium in North London, the club are also taking sustainability into account.

At Hotspur Way, Spurs have their own organic garden which helps to feed the players, as well as 25 bug hotels around the grounds to promote natural wildlife.

King even revealed that Spurs’ very own Eric Dier has taken a keen interest in the work after the centre-back took up gardening during the first UK lockdown.

The Spurs legend claimed that it was important to take steps to improve, with Spurs using their power in the community for good.

He said: “It’s important to take little steps to try to improve, like walking whenever you can and cycling.
