Ledley King is confident that Ange Postecoglou will be the man to break Tottenham’s trophy curse and lead the side to their first piece of silverware since 2008.
King was part of the last Tottenham team that lifted a trophy, with the Lilywhites overcoming Arsenal and Chelsea in the semifinals and finals respectively to get their hands on the Carabao Cup 16 years ago.
Like many Tottenham fans, the former Spurs captain is thrilled at the kind of football and mentality that Postecoglou instilled at the club, opining that this sort of attacking approach is in line with the Lilywhites’ DNA and gives them the best chance of being successful.
