Ledley King has admitted he is loving what he is seeing from Tottenham of late after the North Londoners brushed Newcastle United aside on Sunday.
Spurs needed a win to go level on points with Arsenal in fourth place and not only did they get the three points but they also sent a message to their rivals by putting five past the Magpies.
The 5-1 win boosted the Lilywhites’ goal difference and means they temporarily move above their North London rivals to fourth place, with the Gunners set to travel to Selhurst Park this evening.
Antonio Conte’s men have certainly clicked as an attacking unit over the last month or so, having scored 13 goals in their last three home games against Newcastle, West Ham and Everton.
King took to social media to express his delight at the kind of football that Tottenham are now playing as they head into the business end of the season. He revealed he is loving the goals, confidence, and style of football.

There certainly seems to be a belief running through the side at the moment that they are capable of taking the game away from the opposition in 10 or 15 good minutes, given the attacking talent at our disposal.
Even when Newcastle were frustrating us in the first half, there was no sign of panic from the Spurs players, who were willing to be patient and wait for the spaces to open up. That was also the case against West Ham before the international break.
