‘Let’s go’ – Neymar sends words of encouragement to Spurs star

Neymar sent words of encouragement to Richarlison on social media after the Tottenham man posted an injury update.

Richarlison has become a key part of Brazil’s set-up recently and has proven to be the perfect man for Neymar to play off.

The Spurs star looks nailed on to be the Selecao’s number nine in the World Cup but the 25-year-old suffered a major injury scare against Everton on Saturday when he had to come off with a calf injury.

Richarlison was reported to be in tears in the dressing room after the game, and expressed his fears about missing the World Cup, with Brazil’s campaign getting underway on November 28 (ESPN Brazil).

However, Antonio Conte has since confirmed that the injury is not as serious as initially feared and that the forward will be fit to travel to Qatar (Football.London).

Richarlison took to Instagram to thank everyone for their messages of support and remarked that ‘everything is going to be alright’.

A number of his Brazil teammates responded to the Spurs star’s post, with Neymar being one of them. The PSG forward commented: “Let’s go, little dove. Let’s go, let’s go.”

Spurs Web Opinion

Richarlison is clearly loved by his Brazil and Tottenham teammates. It is easy to see why as the 25-year-old is a selfless player, who works his socks off for the team.

He certainly deserves to lead the line for his country in the World Cup, given how hard he has worked to establish himself as Tite’s first choice up front.
