Leyton Orient take to Twitter to make funny Kane statement after England win

Leyton Orient took to Twitter last night to joke about how they managed to get Harry Kane on loan back during his Tottenham youth days, following England’s Euro 2020 semi-final win over Denmark.

The Three Lions came from behind to snatch a win from the Danes in extra-time at Wembley last night, with Kane tapping in a rebound from his own missed penalty.

It has been some journey for the England captain, from making 18 appearances for Leyton Orient in League One back in 2010/11 to leading his country out in a major final ten years later.

Kane scored five goals during his time with Leyton and he will be hoping to at least repeat that tally this summer as he chases the Euro 2020 trophy and the golden boot.

Ronaldo currently leads the way with five goals and one assist, meaning Kane will likely have to add a couple of goals to his tally of four on Sunday.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Harry Kane is a true example of what hard work and determination can get you. He was never tipped as the next big thing during his academy days but once he was given a chance, he made himself undroppable and has improved year on year ever since.
