Line Up: Chelsea v Tottenham – First start for new signing

Nuno Espirito Santo has picked his Tottenham Hotspur starting eleven for the fourth time since taking over as the club’s new head coach.

Tottenham make the short trip to Stamford Bridge this evening to face rivals, Chelsea, in a pre-season friendly as part of the Mind Series, as part of an effort to to support better mental health.

Tonight will see Tottenham face a step up in quality of opposition, having previously faced Leyton Orient, Colchester United and MK Dons in their previous three pre-season outings.

There is a first start in goal for new signing Pierluigi Gollini following his loan arrival from Atalanta, while Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg takes to the field for the first time since his involvement at Euro 2020 with Denmark.

There is no sign of club captain Hugo Lloris in the match day squad, with Alfie Whiteman providing cover on the bench.
