Line Up: Southampton v Spurs – Richarlison starts

Antonio Conte has named his Tottenham Hotspur side which will take to the field in this afternoon’s crucial Premier League clash against Southampton.

Spurs have lost their previous four away games in all competitions, failing to score in each of the last three and is certainly something that they cannot afford to do this afternoon as they look to keep themselves firmly in the mix for Champions League football.

The north Londoners are still without Hugo Lloris, Yves Bissouma and Ryan Sessegnon, while Rodrigo Bentancur and Yves Bissouma has already been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign having undergone knee surgery.

Conte provided an injury update to SpursPLAY in the build up to the fixture against the Saints: “We have players that had serious injuries. Sessegnon won’t be ready after the international break, it’s the same for Bissouma,”

“About Hugo, this I don’t know but maybe he won’t be ready. Bentancur’s season ended.”

The match will represent Conte’s first away fixture since returning from a recovery stint in Italy having seen his side beat Nottingham Forest in north London last weekend.
