Line Up: Spurs v Everton – Johnson starts

Ange Postecoglou has named his Spurs side which will take to the field in this afternoon’s Premier League clash against Everton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Suspensions and injuries continue to be a problem for Postecoglou with the Australian without the services of Destiny Udogie and Yves Bissouma who both picked up bans during the win at Nottingham Forest.

Discipline has been an issue this season with Spurs have received four red cards in 17 Premier League games, as many as in their previous two campaigns combined.

Spurs team news vs Everton

Postecoglou, however, did confirm some good news at yesterday’s press conference with Brennan Johnson available despite suffering a head injury at the City Ground, while Giovani Lo Celso also returns having recovered from a knock.

Everton are certainly no pushovers with Sean Dyche’s side having won four successive Premier League matches for the first time since December 2020.

This is who takes to the field in N17 this afternoon:

Spurs: Vicario, Porro, Romero, Davies, Royal, Sarr, Skipp, Johnson, Kulusevski, Richarliso, Son

Subs: Forster, Hojbjerg, Gil, Dier, Lo Celso, Bryan, Donley, Veliz

Everton: Pickford, Patterson, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko, Harrison, Gana Gueye, Onana, McNeil, Garner, Calvert-Lewin

Subs: Virginina, Lonergan, Keane, Danjuma, Beto, Gomes, Godfrey, Chermiti, Hunt
