Line Up: Spurs v Man City – Ange makes Maddison decision

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou has named his side which will take to the field in this evening’s FA Cup fourth round clash against Manchester City.

Home cup ties under the lights of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium have not been a regular thing in recent years with Spurs having to play many of their ties on the road in recent years with the draws having been particularly unkind.

Pep Guardiola’s side head to the stadium where they are yet to score a single goal in their last five outings in all competitions since the venue opened and are still awaiting their first win there.

Both teams have had almost two weeks off thanks to the winter break which has allowed Postecoglou to ease the congestion in the treatment room by welcoming James Maddison back to training.

Spurs are still without Heung-min Son, Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr who are all on international duty while Manor Solomon, Giovani Lo Celso and Alejo Veliz are still sidelined.

For the visitors, the prolific Erling Harland is still sidelined having missed the last month with a foot injury.
