Tottenham Hotspur begin their preparations ahead of the resumption of the Premier League campaign when they face Motherwell in a friendly match.
The fixture takes place behind closed doors at the club’s Hotspur Way training facility and will give Antonio Conte the first opportunity to allow his squad to build their match fitness ahead of the trip to Brentford on Boxing Day.
With a number of players unavailable due to their involvement at the World Cup, it also gives some of the fringe players within the squad and the younger talent the opportunity to step up and catch the eye of the Italian and his backroom staff.
Motherwell head into the fixture currently fourth from bottom in the Scottish Premier League table with five wins from their opening sixteen matches.
This is who features for Tottenham this afternoon against Steven Hammell’s side.
