Line Up: Tottenham Hotspur vs Wolves – Conte makes three changes

Head coach Antonio Conte has named his Tottenham Hotspur side which will take to the field in this afternoon’s Premier League clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers in north London.

Wednesday night’s match against Southampton saw Conte suffer his first home league defeat in 23 matches dating back to October 2020 when he was at Inter Milan.

Tottenham are looking to secure their first league double over Wolves since the 2003-04 season, having won at Molineux in August by a narrow 1-0 scoreline courtesy of a Dele Alli penalty while Nuno Espirito Santo was still in charge.

The Italian has made three changes to the side which lost in midweek with Ryan Sessegnon and Matt Doherty replacing Sergio Reguilon and Emerson Royal at wing-back while Rodrigo Bentancur makes his full Premier League debut at the expense of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

This is who takes to the field against Bruno Lage’s side at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Defensively, Tottenham have to be a lot more at the races than they were against the Saints and must deal with the press that opponents inflict on them.

It’s hardly a surprise that Conte has made changes to the side, remarkably Sanchez has kept his place – Joe Rodon must be wondering what he has to do in order to get an opportunity.
