Line Up: Tottenham v Luton – van de Ven on bench

Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou has named his side which will take to the field in this afternoon’s Premier League clash against Luton Town at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Today’s fixture is the first time both sides have met in a top flight fixture since a 4-1 win for the lilywhites at White Hart Lane in November 1991.

Tottenham are looking to bounce back from the 3-0 loss at Fulham earlier this month which was a surprisingly toothless display of the Postecoglou era to date.

Micky van de Ven returned to training during the international break having been forced off in the win at Aston Villa and missed the defeat at Craven Cottage with Radu Dragusin stepping in to take his place alongside Cristian Romero.

Manor Solomon and Fraser Forster both remained sidelined with long-term injuries.

Postecoglou’s side have failed to score in the first half of their last five Premier League matches, however, they have won six of their past seven Premier League home fixtures, losing the other.

This is who takes to the field at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this afternoon:

Tottenham XI: Vicario, Porro, Romero, Dragusin, Udogie, Bissouma, Sarr, Kulusevski, Maddison, Werner, Son

Subs: Hojbjerg, Richarlison, Emerson, Lo Celso, Johnson, Bentancur, Davies, van de Ven, Austin
