Line Up: Tottenham v Manchester United – Kulusevski dropped

Ryan Mason has named his Tottenham Hotspur side which will take to the field in this evening’s Premier League clash against Manchester United.

The second Mason era begins at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this evening with the former Spurs midfielder placed in charge for the remainder of the season in place of the recently-departed Cristian Stellini.

Mason will certainly be keen to make a mark after initially being overlooked for the caretaker role following Antonio Conte’s exit at the end of March and faces a tough test against Erik ten Hag’s Champions League contenders.

He revealed at yesterday’s pre-match press conference that he believes he is ready to take on the role on a permanent basis, telling Football.London: “Yeah obviously I’m ready and if that situation happens it obviously means I have done a good job.

“But that is obviously in the future of four five six weeks’ time, like I said the immediate thought is the game on Thursday and the game on Sunday. We have big weeks before anyone in here can start to think of that situation.”

Tottenham have lost four consecutive Premier League meetings, their worst run against Manchester United since seven successive defeats between September 2001 and September 2004.
