Line Up: Wolves vs Spurs – Kane starts

Antonio Conte and Cristian Stellini have named their Tottenham Hotspur side which will take to the field in this afternoon’s Premier League fixture at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Inconsistency is the theme of Tottenham’s season and once again it ended up costing them dearly when their hopes of a first FA Cup triumph since 1991 was ended at Sheffield United with the Championship outfit fully deserved of their victory against a lethargic lilywhites side.

Wolves, who are in 15th place in the Premier League table heading into the weekend will be looking to pile more pressure on Tottenham who are currently scrapping it out with Newcastle United for a top four finish.

Julen Lopetegui’s side head into the clash having been beaten 2-0 at Anfield on Wednesday night in a rearranged fixture.

Tottenham have lost their last three away games in all competitions, conceding six goals and scoring just one; something which drastically needs to be addressed or the current unrest among the fanbase will only grow louder.

Cristian Stellini revealed at yesterday’s pre-match press conference that he has no fresh injury concerns.

He told Football.London: “We don’t have team news. Everyone is fine like in the last game. We are ready to play the next match with same squad.”

When asked about whether Emerson Royal would return after the knee issue which kept him out of the cup defeat, he added: “Yes”

This is who takes to the field at Molineux Stadium this afternoon:
