Line Ups: Chelsea v Tottenham – Maddison dropped

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou has named his side which will take to the field in this evening’s Premier League clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have lost just one of their past 33 home league games against Tottenham – losing 3-1 in April 2018 when Spurs were managed by their current boss Mauricio Pochettino.

Tottenham know that they must take all three points from the match if they wish to have a realistic chance of pipping Aston Villa to fourth place in the Premier League table and securing Champions League qualification.

Ange Postecoglou‘s side have looked defensively frail, especially from set pieces and have lost two of their past three Premier League away games (D1), as many as they had in their previous 14 (W7 D5).

There needs to be more urgency in attack having failed to score in both defeats, having only failed to score in two of their previous 34 away league matches.
