Former Premier League striker Chris Sutton believes that the ‘Spursy’ tag associated with Tottenham Hotspur should be dropped after they have proved themselves over the past five years under Mauricio Pochettino.
The term has been famously borne out of the club’s recent history of near misses and coming up short on the big occasion.
The football pundit feels that their comeback against Ajax was proof enough that the club are able to make it into a final of a major competition.

Sutton has a reputation of being somewhat of a controversial pundit with his opinion and it’s refreshing to hear him speak sense on something relating to Tottenham.
