‘Little things’ – Chelsea star reveals what he loves about Harry Kane

Raheem Sterling has revealed his admiration for the way Harry Kane trains, admitting that he is impressed by the little details the Tottenham man pays attention to.

Kane and Sterling know each other well on and off the pitch, having played together for many years in England set-up. It is crucial that the Chelsea and Spurs stars fire in Qatar if the Three Lions are to progress far into the tournament.

The England captain won the Golden Boot during the last World Cup in Russia and will be hoping to repeat the trick this time around. He is heading into the tournament in terrific form, having found the net 13 times for Spurs across all competitions in the first part of the campaign (Transfermarkt).

Kane needs just three goals to overtake Wanye Rooney’s tally and become England’s all-time leading goalscorer and one certainly would not bet against the Spurs man clinching the record in Qatar.

Sterling has now explained that his strike partner’s success is not by accident and that he constantly works on little details in training.

When asked about the best trainer in the England squad, the Chelsea star told Lad Bible: “He’s (Kane) up there, I’m talking as a forward for me.

“From a forward’s perspective, just little details he does to improve his game. I like to see it, but everyone trains hard. I just like seeing little things he does.”
