Liverpool receive massive injury blow ahead of Spurs clash

Tottenham Hotspur take on Liverpool this weekend, as they look to end a run of dreadful form in the Premier League.

A few weeks ago, Spurs had the chance to go just two points behind the League leaders Liverpool, but squandered it by losing 2-1 away to Burnley.

Spurs then lost against Chelsea, scraped a draw against Arsenal at home, and lost to Southampton away, dropping 11 points from the last possible twelve.

This has seen them tumble from title contenders to top four maybes, as they desperately attempt to scramble a Champions League spot for next season.

Both sides go into the first versus third clash with problems at right back, with both Serge Aurier and Trent Alexander-Arnold likely missing the game (HITC).

Aurier picked up an injury on duty for the Ivory Coast, while Trent is a big doubt for the match through injury too, leaving Klopp with a slight headache.
