We have all been in the awkward situation where a wedding we have been invited to clashes with the timing of an important match.

Liverpool supporter Abby Norman and Tottenham fan James Alexander who will tie the knot today, have taken a different approach and decided to screen the finals during their wedding.
According to a report in GIVE ME SPORT, the pair settled on the date for the wedding before the semifinal clashes, and when both Liverpool and Spurs made it into the final, they were left extremely surprised.
However, the pair claim that the thought of cancelling the wedding never occurred to them, and they thus decided that the bar will be changed into a sports bar and the table plan will be made based on the team that each of the guests supports.
Abby said, “We joked and laughed that it could happen, but didn’t think it really would. After Tottenham’s game on Wednesday, our phones were going nuts.”
“James was actually in London at the time and we couldn’t believe it had happened – and for a massive game as well.”
