Liverpool’s Dejan Lovren yet again tries to troll Harry Kane

Croatia defender Dejan Lovren has once again tried to troll Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane on social media.

Lovren took to Instagram to post a story which contains a photo of him blocking/fouling Kane with the a caption in Croatian which translates to “The ball can pass, but the player does not. The old golden rule.”

This is not the first time which Lovren has tried to mock Kane, in an Instagram conversation with Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah in May he called Kane ‘Mr Touch’ after winning an appeal to have Christian Eriksen’s goal credited to him in Tottenham’s victory over Stoke City.

Lovren has an issue with Kane after the Spurs star has humiliated him on the pitch on more than one occasion. Firstly during a Premier League match at Wembley, he made two big errors within 15 minutes. He inexplicably ducked a header from a throw-in, allowing Kane to round Mignolet and put Spurs one up.

Eight minutes later when his mistimed jump released Kane again, who squared for Heung-Min Son to double Spurs’ lead and we went on to win the game 4-1.

He also made a gaffe in the return match at Anfield when his miskick gave Kane the chance of scoring from the penalty spot.

I’m looking to Kane destroying Lovren in front of everyone in our first match at the new stadium, it’s the least he deserves.
